Please note - The Beatles Shop will be closed from Sunday 26th February while we have important repairs done to the premises. The work is expected to take around 10 days. During this time there will be no one available to take phone calls and we will have no access to emails. No staff will be available for valuations. We apologise for any inconvenience. Hopefully we will be sorted, tidied and everything back in place by the 10th March, but please try ringing us first around that time just to make sure we are open. Thank you

An Unusual Ringo Starr Autograph

There are a couple of Ringo autographed items in this year's Annual Liverpool Beatles Memorabilia Auction.

By far the most unusual one is on a copy of a mono With The Beatles album because it includes his real name, or rather the name by most family and friends know him by. It is signed " To Lyn wishing you a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Years love from Richy xxx" and then he has added "Ringo Starr xx"

It's not often that you see items signed with this name and this lot will be carrying an estimate of £200-£250 when it goes up for sale in August.

Also in this year's auction is this regular Ringo autograph on a fabulous black and white photograph of the drummer playing the accordion. It is signed in biro in the top left-hand corner and the estimate on this item is £100-£120

The 2015 Liverpool Beatles Memorabilia Auction takes place on 29th August 2015 at the Paul McCartney Auditorium at The Liverpool Institute for the Performing Arts.
