Stage Worn Ringo Starr Boots Up For Auction in Liverpool This August!

These boots were made for drumming!!  This pair of black boots have been previously worn on stage by Ringo Starr. His name is still visible written inside the boots in biro.

They were given to the vendor in 1963.

The vendor is a long-time friend of the family and the item comes with a letter from them.

Important Updates! New Venue!

This year's Liverpool Beatles Memorabilia Auction is going to be held at The Liverpool Philharmonic Hall's Music Room. The room is part of the Hall but the public entrance to this part of the venue is via Sugnall Street at the back of the main building.

1970s Beatles Event Posters

Forty years ago Liverpool saw it's first Beatles convention. The event was held at Mr Pickwick's Club and was organised by Allan Williams and Bob Wooler, both legends of the Liverpool Beatle world. This poster for the event is going into our auction which is held during the annual International Beatle Week event.

Signed Beatles Concert Programme from Liverpool Empire Concert

This fully signed page from a Mary Wells Tour concert programme is headed for sale in our forthcoming Beatles Memorabilia Auction.

The John to whom the signatures are dedicated was a member of a Merseybeat group who attended the concert at the Liverpool Empire with Beatles Fan Club Secretary, Freda Kelly. He was able to meet the band with her afterwards and got them all to sign the inside cover of the programme.

Ringo Starr School Photograph from St Silas

It's well documented that Ringo was pretty ill throughout his childhood, but he did attend St Silas School and even managed to be there for a school photograph in 1948.
(You can get more information about his school by following this link to the excellent There Are Places I Remember site)

One of these original photographs is going up for sale in our forth coming auction. Ringo is sat on the ground in the bottom left of the photo.
