IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT THE 2021 BEATLES AUCTION

Unfortunately for anyone looking to place anything in our 2021 Beatles Auction we are rather pleased to announced that the auction is now full and looks set to be our biggest ever!

There's going to be a flurry of updates in the coming weeks so do call back often, or keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates. We are very excited about this year's event!

We will be updating all the other auction details on here too, just as soon as we know what we are allowed to do regards attendance etc... Hopefully we'll be able to see more of you in the auction room this year, wherever we end up holding the sale.

Beatles Auction 2021 - Freda Kelly's Cavern Club Card and Badge

If you aren't familiar with who Freda Kelly is pop onto a streaming service and look for a documentary called Good Ol' Freda (I think it's still on Netflix and there is a DVD available too)

Freda was the secretary of the Beatles Fan Club and is one of our very favourite visitors in the shop.

This Cavern Club membership card and pennant shaped Cavern pin was given to Freda by the, then, owner of the club Alf Geohegan.

The membership runs from August 1966 through to July 1967.

The card is going up for sale in our Annual Liverpool Beatles Memorabilia Auction this coming August and it carries an estimate of £700-£800.

Beatles Auction 2021 - Paul McCartney Mull Of Kintyre Whisky Bottle

We assume from the label this was produced to celebrate Mull of Kintyre getting to number one in November 1977 or some such equally significant milestone. It reads "Distilled at Campbelltown, Scotland. Refined at Abbey Road Studios, London. Awarded first prize 28th November 1977"

Definitely a good way to celebrate.

Sadly the contents of the bottle are long gone, but how nice will this look on a shelf?

Rather fabulously the reverse of the label features a section of the sheet music for the song.

This item carries an estimate of £150-£200

First of all, here's a two-sided  10" Abbey Road acetate for Ebony and Ivory (backed with Rainclouds), complete with some handwritten production notes on the recording (don't worry the watermark is only on the photographs not the actual pieces of paper.)

Beatles Auction 2021 - A Quick Update

Hello!

A quick update on the Auction situation as it stands at the moment.

We currently don't have a venue for the event, so it is likely that we will be operating much the same as last year,  with the auction online and a small audience at the auction house. As soon as we know more we will let folks know.

We have some fabulous items going into the sale this year, so stay tuned as we'll be bringing you news of as many items as we can over the next few weeks.

In the meantime, stay safe and we look forward to, hopefully, seeing you all soon.
