Can't Buy Me Love - Original Silver Beatles Coin


This weighty silver coin is dated 1965-1966 on the reverse and comes with the original advertising leaflet/order form. It is estimated to be worth £120-£150 and will be put up for sale in our Annual Liverpool Beatles Memorabilia Auction in August.

Best of The Beatles - Pete Best signed items

Pete Best was the original drummer in the Beatles and his autograph is collectable among fans.
We have some Pete Best signed items in the forthcoming Annual Liverpool Beatles Memorabilia Auction this August. There are a couple of examples listed below.

Beatles Mug and Candy Dish

There were various types of Beatles pottery items available in the 1960s including plates and bowls. They often turn up in our Annual Liverpool Beatles Memorabilia Auction and this year is no exception. Below are two examples that we have already taken in for the sale.

Andy Warhol looks a scream Hang him on my wall - Beatles Warhol Print

This long Andy Warhol poster print was originally to be found under the dust cover of a large hardback book about the Beatles which also used the images. The book is long out of print and when copies turn up they are often missing this poster. Despite being a vintage poster it's vibrant and looks very modern so would look great framed and on a wall. It will be up for sale in our Annual Liverpool Beatles Memorabilia Auction

John Lennon Art Prints - Dutch Bag One Collection

 The Bag One collection of Lennon drawings was famously taken off display in some places due to the erotic nature of some of the images. This small-sized edition of the prints was a later issue from Holland.

Sie Liebt Dich - Klaus and Astrid Autographs

The time spent in Hamburg was very important to the story of The Beatles and it has always felt that the bonds forged there were very strong. Reflecting this autographs by the friends made during this era have become collectable among fans, particularly those with a fondness for the very early days of the group. We have some coming up in our Annual Liverpool Beatles Memorabilia Auction.


This lovely black and white holiday photograph with George has been signed in black marker by the photographer Astrid Kirchherr. Her photographs of the band in Hamburg define that era for fans.

Klaus Voormann is a friend from the early Hamburg days who was later called upon to design the Revolver album cover and is also the artist who created the cover artwork for the Anthology albums and DVDs. These two autographs on promotional photos are being sold together in one lot.

Some Other Guys - Searchers and Pacemakers autographs

The success of the Beatles created a big demand for other Liverpool beat groups. Two of the most famous of these were Gerry and The Pacemakers and The Searchers.

I Read The News Today - Original Mersey Beat Magazines

Mersey Beat was the music paper on Merseyside during the Mersey Beat explosion of the 1960s.

Being mostly a local publication they can be hard to find.

The three issues below are going up for sale in the Annual Liverpool Memorabilia Auction this coming August.

Volume 2 No. 47 May 9th-23rd 1963 with The Hollies on the cover. Estimate £50-£60


Volume 3 No. 55 Aug 29th- Sep 12th 1963 with The Mojos and The Dennisons on the cover. Estimate £60-£70



Volume 3 No. 63 Dec 5th - 19th 1963 with The Rolling Stones on the cover. Estimate £60-£70

With Love Me Do And 12 Other Songs - Original Issue Gold Label Mono Please Please Me

This original issue Mono version of the Please Please Me album with Dick James credits has the much sought after black and gold label. (Shortly after the album was first issued Parlophone changed the record label to the more familiar black and yellow label.) 



This copy will be in the forthcoming Annual Liverpool Beatles Memorabilia Auction in August and carries an estimate of £200-£250

Turn Off Your Mind - Klaus Voormann signed Revolver Album

In the 1967 Emmys, Klaus Voormann won the award for Best Album Cover in the Graphic Art category for his work on the 1966 Revolver album cover. It is probably his most iconic work and is certainly his most recognisable.

This copy of the Revolver album is boldly signed by Klaus in black marker pen and would look great framed up and on a wall.

It will be up for sale in our Annual Liverpool Beatles Memorabilia Auction this coming August and carries an estimate of £150-£200

I ain't got no matches But I sure got a long way to go - Original Apple Matchbook

Apple Records had lots of promo items in the late 60s, including matchbooks that were given away as a keep sake to remember the address and contact details of the business. (Matchbooks were often the equivalent of a business cards or flyers in the days when smoking was more prolific)

This empty matchbook cover will be up for sale in our Annual Liverpool Memorabilia Auction this coming August with an estimated value of £40-£50

Drink To Me, Drink To My Health - Original Beatles Tumbler

In 1964 in the USA you could purchase Beatles Kissin' Lips tumblers made by Burrite. They came in four different colours with the same pictures of the whole band on each one.

We have one of the white versions up for sale in the 2019 Annual Liverpool Beatles Auction this August.

No Don't Shake Me, I'm Only Sleeping - Original Beatles Blanket

Made by Witney in the UK c.1963 these Beatles blankets fall into the category of still usable memorabilia and would look awesome spread across a bed even now. Mind you they would look equally as impressive hung as a wall tapestry.
