Beatles Auction 2021 - Rare Proof of Early Beatles Promotional Photograph Formerly the Property of Freda Kelly

This early promotional photograph card, featuring Pete Best still in the band, is stamped on the reverse indicating the photograph was taken by HC Watmough who had studios at 24 Moorfields, Liverpool, not far from Mathew Street and The Cavern Club.

It is also stamped as a "Rough Proof" and a handwritten notation dates it as "EARLY 1962"

The item is formerly the property of Beatles Fan Club secretary, Freda Kelly.  (Freda is the subject of a great documentary called "Good Ol' Freda", catch it if you get the chance. )

Estimate - £250-£300
