The Signs in the Cavern Club

This letter from NBC in September 1966 is about permission to film a band called The Signs for a TV Special. The letter is signed as the terms being accepted by Bob Wooler.  The lot also comes with a rather splendid colour photograph of the band taken from the filming at the Cavern Club and a promotional card on which they used a black and white version of that image.

This collection of items will be going under the hammer later this month at out Annual Liverpool Beatles Auction and is expected to reach between £150-£200

Merchandising Plaques for The Cavern Club

These little plastic plaques were stuck on various items of merchandising sold in the Cavern Club in the late sixties. They are in a collection of six and are black or white in colour. The estimate on them in our Annual Liverpool Beatles Memorabilia Auction is £80-£100

A Trio Of Cavern Club Business Card Designs

These three different types of Cavern Club business cards date from the latter half of the 60s when the club was under the ownership of Alf Geoghegan.

There's a collection of ten of these little business cards going into the auction, with an estimate of £80-£100 for the lot.

Cavern Club Gargoyle For Sale

We do love the odd items that get brought in for our auction from time to time. And this is certainly odd.
This large "gargoyle" face adorned the wall of the Cavern Club during the time of Roy Adams' ownership of the venue (between 1969 and 1973) It is one of a handful that are believed to have hung in front of wall lights at the club.

This wonderful grotesque is going under the hammer at our Annual Liverpool Beatles Memorabilia Auction in August with an estimate of £350-£450
