This letter, from Mimi Smith (John's aunt) to a fan dates from early September 1967, not long after Brian Epstein's death. She mentions how much he will be missed by the group and herself. Also mentioned is the band's experimentation with LSD where she says the band don't really do drugs. She also comments on not understanding why they needed to go to India to meditate.
The letter, along with the handwritten envelope will be going under the hammer in our
Annual Liverpool Beatles Memorabilia Auction later this month.
