Rock and Roll Stars In Liverpool

The Beatles were heavily influenced by American Rock and Roll stars in their early days and some of those stars popped over to play on this side of the pond in the 1960s.

Jerry Lee Lewis played the Tower Ballroom New Brighton in 1962. This large original poster advertising the event is up for sale in our auction in August with an estimate of £300-£400

Chuck Berry came to the Cavern Club in 1967 and this handbill for the event is estimated at £60-£80 when it goes up for sale in August.
