By far our favourite items in this year's auction are these fabulous letters from George's mum, Louise Harrison. They are all to the same young fan who wrote to her on a regular basis throughout the early 60s.

We've included a few on this post for illustration, reading them as we catalogued them really made our day. We knew Louise was lovely to the fans and her correspondence, with occasional bits of guidance and advice, with this young lady just proves that.
Most of the letters are estimated between £100-£150 apart from lot 250 which includes a drawing being returned to Janet signed by George himself (and he's even signed for the other Beatles too!) That particular letter is estimated to fetch £1000-£1250.
