Also from St. Peter's Church, this wooden block is from the floor of the Church Hall and dates back to the fifties so it is from where and when that fateful meeting took place. Estimate £50-£75

Just A Reminder

Just a reminder that the 2013 Auction is now full. We simply have no room for any more lots.

We think this year's event is one of our best ever as it is full of great items covering novelties, autographs, rarities and much more. Hopefully there is something for everyone amongst all the goodies.

The catalogue will be available as a download as soon as it is completed, this is usually around the end of July / beginning of August, with the print version available shortly afterwards, Details of how to get a copy will appear here as soon as it is ready.

All questions about lots should be sent to auction@thebeatleshop.co.uk and we will try to be as quick as possible in replying (please remember the auction takes place during one of our busiest periods so sometimes replies may not be immediate) All our contact details are available on our contacts page.

We will start to take absentee bids as soon as the catalogue is completed and published online. Details for placing absentee bids will appear here nearer the time. We can not take bids until the catalogue is completed as you will need to know the lot numbers for items you wish to bid on and they are not available before publication.

The viewing day runs from around 11am to 4.30pm. Please note, there is no time for any viewings on the morning of the sale.

Fourmost–A Night For Mike

The Fourmost were a prominent band of the Merseybeat era with their most famous single “Hello Little Girl” being penned by Lennon and McCartney.

Sadly, band member Mike Millward developed leukaemia in the mid-60s and made his final departure from the band in December 1965, passing away a short while afterwards.

A tribute concert was held at the beginning of April 1966 at the Grafton, raising money for Cancer Research  and a Memorial service followed later the same month.

A selection of artefacts from these occasions are for sale in 2013 auction. They include an order of service plus ticket and flyer for the Night For Mike concert.
